A Fruitful Day at the Community Orchard

On the 6th of January, we had a wonderful time planting fruit trees at the community orchard in Orchard Park. It was a cold but sunny day, and we were joined by many volunteers from the neighbourhood and beyond.

We planted around 12 fruit trees of different varieties, including golden gage, mulberry, pear, plum and quince. These trees will provide delicious fruits for the community to enjoy in the future, as well as enhancing the biodiversity and beauty of the area.

We would like to thank everyone who came to the event and helped us make it a success. We hope to see you again at our next planting day, which will be announced soon!
