THE FIRST COMMUNITY WORK DAY AT CAMBRIDGE ORCHARD PARK COMMUNITY ORCHARD

We recently had our first community work day (22nd of April 2023), at the Cambridge Orchard Park Community Orchard, and it was a great success! 

During the session we managed to get rid of some high grasses growing around the tree trunks and spread some mulch. We have also planted some comfrey plants which are loved by bees and other insects and provide an abundance of biomass which can be used as a fertiliser. 

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for making our community work day a huge success!
